Description: Declared Historic Artistic Monument in 1981, El Castillo de los Mendoza sits in the Parque Regional de la Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, the biggest protected natural space in Madrid. The project seeks to recover the cultural identity of the historic set, while adapting it to its new program. The medieval garden is seen as an amusement space as well as becoming the main tourist attractor.
